How to convert PDF to DOCX

    1. Choose or drop your PDF files. You can add several at once.
    2. Check that “To” is set to DOCX.
    3. Press “Convert to DOCX” and download the results — or all of them as one ZIP.

    PDF vs DOCX

PDF — Portable Document Format. PDF keeps a document looking the same on every device, with fixed pages, fonts and layout. That makes it ideal for sharing and printing, but hard to edit.

DOCX — Microsoft Word document. DOCX is the Microsoft Word format. Text flows freely and can be edited, restyled and reused; it also opens in Google Docs, Pages and LibreOffice.

Convert PDF to DOCX when you need a file for documents you need to edit. PDF is better suited to sharing, printing and archiving documents.

    FAQ

    5
    Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The conversion runs in your browser using your own device’s processor. Your files are never sent to a server, so nobody — including us — can see them. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads.

    Will I lose quality?

Text, headings, bold and italic, fonts and images are rebuilt into an editable document. Simple documents convert very well; multi-column layouts and tables may need some tidying, and scanned PDFs only contain images because they have no text to extract.

Is there a file size or daily limit?

No limits, and no sign-up. Because nothing is uploaded, we don’t pay for your conversions and have no reason to cap them. Very large files are limited only by your device’s memory.

Can I convert many PDF files at once?

Yes. Add as many files as you like; each is converted to DOCX, and “Download all” saves them together as a ZIP.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. It works in any modern browser — Safari, Chrome, Firefox or Edge — on phones, tablets and computers. Older or low-memory phones may be slower with very large files.
