How to convert OGG to MP3
- Choose or drop your OGG files. You can add several at once.
- Check that “To” is set to MP3.
- Press “Convert to MP3” and download the results — or all of them as one ZIP.
OGG vs MP3
OGG — Ogg Vorbis audio. OGG is an open, royalty-free compressed audio format used by many games, Linux apps and some streaming services. Support on Apple devices is limited.
MP3 — MPEG-1 Audio Layer III. MP3 is the universal compressed audio format. At 192 kbps it sounds close to the original for most listeners at about a tenth of the size of WAV.
Convert OGG to MP3 when you need a file for music libraries, podcasts and playing on any device. OGG is better suited to games and open-source software.
FAQ
5Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion runs in your browser using your own device’s processor. Your files are never sent to a server, so nobody — including us — can see them. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads.
Will I lose quality?
Audio is encoded to MP3 at 192 kbps, which sounds the same as the original to most listeners.
Is there a file size or daily limit?
No limits, and no sign-up. Because nothing is uploaded, we don’t pay for your conversions and have no reason to cap them. Very large files are limited only by your device’s memory.
Can I convert many OGG files at once?
Yes. Add as many files as you like; each is converted to MP3, and “Download all” saves them together as a ZIP.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. It works in any modern browser — Safari, Chrome, Firefox or Edge — on phones, tablets and computers. Older or low-memory phones may be slower with very large files.
