How to convert PDF to PNG
- Choose or drop your PDF files. You can add several at once.
- Check that “To” is set to PNG.
- Press “Convert to PNG” and download the results — or all of them as one ZIP.
PDF vs PNG
PDF — Portable Document Format. PDF keeps a document looking the same on every device, with fixed pages, fonts and layout. That makes it ideal for sharing and printing, but hard to edit.
PNG — Portable Network Graphics. PNG is a lossless image format that supports transparency. Every pixel is kept exactly, so it suits screenshots, logos and graphics with sharp edges or text.
Convert PDF to PNG when you need a file for screenshots, logos, graphics with transparency and images you will edit again. PDF is better suited to sharing, printing and archiving documents.
FAQ
5Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion runs in your browser using your own device’s processor. Your files are never sent to a server, so nobody — including us — can see them. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads.
Will I lose quality?
Each page becomes its own PNG image, rendered at about 144 dpi (twice screen resolution, up to 4000 pixels on the longest side) — sharp enough to read and print small text. PNG is lossless. A multi-page PDF gives you one image per page, or all of them as a ZIP.
Is there a file size or daily limit?
No limits, and no sign-up. Because nothing is uploaded, we don’t pay for your conversions and have no reason to cap them. Very large files are limited only by your device’s memory.
Can I convert many PDF files at once?
Yes. Add as many files as you like; each is converted to PNG, and “Download all” saves them together as a ZIP.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. It works in any modern browser — Safari, Chrome, Firefox or Edge — on phones, tablets and computers. Older or low-memory phones may be slower with very large files.
